Picking you up at the airport, or just want someone to know you landed safely? Share your trip, and they can follow your flights from their own Trips IQ.
- Open your trip and tap Share — the share icon at the top of the trip in the app, or the Share button on the website.
- Send the link by text, email, or any messaging app.
- They tap Get flight updates on the page your link opens, then sign in to Trips IQ or create a free account, and tap Follow.
That's it. Your trip appears under Following in their Trips IQ, and they'll get a notification whenever your flight is delayed, arrives early, changes gate, or lands — so nobody's left waiting at arrivals or running late to the curb.
Good to know
- Live flight updates are part of Premium. Your Premium plan powers the updates for everyone following your trip — they don't need Premium themselves.
- They only see the basics. Where you're going, when, and each flight's live status. Confirmation numbers, tickets, documents and your notes are never shared.
- You'll know who's following. You get a notification when someone starts following your trip.
Managing who follows your trip
- See who's following: tap Share on the website, or the "people are following" row on your trip in the app.
- Remove someone: tap Remove next to their name.
- Remove everyone: choose Stop sharing or Replace link on the website. The old link stops working and all followers are removed. If you replace the link, send the new one to anyone you still want following.
